Who you are
You are a recent graduate or about to graduate, driven by a passion for innovation and a desire to make a tangible impact in an entrepreneurial setting. You are flexible, thrive in dynamic environments, and are eager to get involved, learn quickly, and grow alongside a founding team.
Must have:
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems within a wider business context, and to think through short-term and long-term implications. Ability to proactively gather and connect new information.
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible, being able to pivot quickly in response to shifting priorities or new unexpected challenges.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively, ensuring deadlines are met and details are not overlooked.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively, and with a keen eye for detail.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
Nice to have:
- Relevant degree in a Business or STEM field.
- Basic understanding of operations, communications, accounting, finance, marketing, or hiring within a startup context.
- Previous experience in startups or entrepreneurial environments, such as internships, volunteer work, or academic projects.
- Experience with team coordination: for example events, group activities, or coordinating meetings.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methods.
Bonus:
- Interest in data analytics and business decision-making.
- Familiarity with digital marketing strategies or tools.
- Experience with user research, product development, or customer engagement initiatives.
What you will do
- (50%) Operational strategy and process improvement
- Assist in developing and implementing operational strategies that enhance productivity.
- Support the management of projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
- Engage with multiple teams to identify bottlenecks and propose solutions, improving efficiency and coordination across teams.
- Help to develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- (30%) Operational planning
- Manage and coordinate complex calendars, scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for team members.
- Prioritise requests and ensure that time is allocated effectively for strategic initiatives and important engagements.
- Where required, prepare meeting agendas, take notes, and follow up on action items to ensure accountability.
- (20%) Project support and administration
- Assist in the planning and execution of special projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
- Organise and maintain information (files, records, and documentation) to support decision-making and facilitate easy access.
- Track key metrics and prepare summaries or reports to inform strategic discussions.

We are building what will become a leading industrial platform that empowers engineers and research scientists to solve pressing problems in energy efficiency, product design and reliability. We develop and support a product that connects simulations, data, and AI to empower large organisations when making informed decisions across the life cycle of engineered systems.
Quaisr is an early stage startup backed by Crane Venture Partners (UK) and Acequia Capital (USA), along with international angel investors. We were founded on partnerships with leading engineering and research institutions including Imperial College London and The Alan Turing Institute. Our customers are early-adopter multinational organisations in the pharmaceuticals, fast-moving consumer goods, defence, and energy sectors.
Where we operate
Our office is in London (White City). This position is available full time in the UK.

We offer 25 days paid annual leave, in addition to UK public holidays.

Our hiring process
- (30 mins) Introductory call with Quaisr. This is a chance to learn about Quaisr and to check that our plans align with your own. We want to get to know you.
- (90 mins) Additional deep dive with two Quaisr team members. We’ll give you an opportunity to talk through your past experience and key qualities that align with the role. We want to learn more about you, and a little regarding how you think!
- (45 mins) Follow-up with additional Quaisr team. You will meet your future team members and learn more about the role directly from us.
